Dear Friend of Rescue,

Australian Terrier Rescue, Inc is a non profit organization that was formed to take care of Australian Terriers who could no longer be cared for by their owners, who were abandoned or mistreated, or who were in need of care because of the death or illness of the owner.
Our primary role is to ensure that dogs are placed in warm loving homes where they may live out their lives bringing joy and companionship to their new owners.

This organization is made up entirely of people who volunteer their time and money to foster and place these little dogs in caring, loving homes. Almost all the dogs that come into Rescue need rehabilitation and training by the new foster and adoptive owners who are supported and supervised by experienced members of Rescue.

All dogs that come into Rescue will be neutered and spayed. It is remarkable how well these dogs respond to this rehabilitation and we have many testaments from new owners about the joy that has indeed been brought to them by these little dogs.

The expenses of this rescue work are paid for solely by tax-deductible private donations and fund raising activities.
